This is a reputable real estate and property business based in central London. With a strong global presence, they provide a number of comprehensive services including management and transactions for commercial, residential, and rural properties.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a talented Management Accountant to join their finance division. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to utilise their accounting & financial analysis skillsets.

Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will lead on preparation of monthly reporting whilst leveraging data & financial analysis skills to drive commercial insights and decision making.

Key responsibilities include

Produce and deliver accurate monthly management accounts with clear, insightful commentary for stakeholders

Lead detailed variance analysis against budget and prior year, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key drivers

Support and contribute to divisional forecasting and ongoing financial planning cycles

Take ownership of key month-end processes, including reconciliations, billing schedules, and journal postings

Extract, manipulate, and validate large datasets using SQL to support robust financial analysis

Leverage advanced Excel to deliver clear, actionable insights from financial and operational data

Act as a finance business partner to the division, providing commercial insight and challenging stakeholders where needed

Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements and automation

Support data-led decision making through high-quality analysis and proactive financial insight

Profile

The ideal profile for this Management Accountant position, should have the following:

Newly Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)

3+ years of experience across a blend of management accounts and FP&A duties.

Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.

Confident in interpreting and interrogating large datasets.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong communication skills, capable of articulating information to non-finance stakeholders.

Previous experience with PowerBI is highly desirable.

£45,000 - £60,000 plus benefits
