Management Accountant

We are actively seeking a Management Accountant for a well established company in Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

The main duties include

Monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation

Prepare and review financial statements for 4 entities

Prepare monthly journals for accruals & prepayments explaining rationale behind accounting judgements.

Full balance sheet reconciliations with supporting backing

Variance analysis, including commentary

Working closely with relevant business areas on Budget setting and forecasting

Partner with key stakeholders to provide insightful financials

Participate in statutory external audits and work with external accountants

Engagement in transforming month end and other financial reporting processes

Our client is looking for a candidate who has

A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)

Experience of preparing and presenting monthly management accounts

Strong Excel skills

Excellent stakeholder management skills
