We are currently recruiting for a qualified Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation in Birmingham on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly add value within a busy finance team, supporting month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and key business partnering activities. Key Responsibilities
Production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Business partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders
Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities
Supporting financial planning and analysis processes
Assisting with cash flow forecasting and financial modelling
Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the finance function
Supporting year-end and audit requirements
Candidate Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Previous experience in a management accounting role
Strong month-end and reporting experience
Excellent Excel skills and strong systems knowledge
Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred
