Group Management Accountant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Group Head of Management Accounts to join a high-growth, international business based in Leeds City Centre.

The Head of Management Accounts will play a pivotal role within Group Finance, leading consolidated management reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes while supporting the continued development of financial systems, controls and management information.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include

Ownership of the monthly reporting timetable and delivery of the monthly group reporting pack.

Leading month-end and year-end management reporting activities across a multi-entity international group.

Supporting and developing members of the Group Finance team.

Working closely with senior finance leadership to enhance group reporting, management information and financial insight.

Ownership of the group budget and forecasting reporting process.

Acting as the Finance lead and superuser for key finance systems, driving continuous improvements and process efficiencies.

Delivering ad hoc financial analysis, commercial insight and strategic project support.

Building strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.

The Ideal Candidate

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.

Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.

Experience operating within a multi-entity and ideally international business environment.

Proven management accounting and group reporting experience.

Strong systems capability, including advanced Excel skills and financial modelling.

Experience of finance systems implementation, optimisation or ownership.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary & Benefits

£60,000 - £65,000 salary

£5,000 car allowance

Annual bonus

Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
