Reed Accountancy is partnering with an established organisation in Bristol to recruit a Management Accountant to join its Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking for a varied role with responsibility for financial reporting, reconciliations, audit support, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement. Working closely with both finance and operational teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial information and strong financial controls across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial reporting and reconciliations.

Support month-end, year-end, and audit activities.

Produce detailed financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.

Review, monitor, and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Work closely with stakeholders across the business to improve financial processes and reporting.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and wider finance projects as required.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries.

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

About You

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or actively studying towards qualification.

Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.

Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.

Experience supporting audits and ensuring compliance with financial procedures.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
