Management Accountant

We're seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support a business during a key SAP S/4HANA migration project while taking ownership of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly integrate into the team, partner with stakeholders across the business and deliver meaningful financial insight from day one.

Our client is a well-established multi-site organisation operating within a manufacturing and operational environment.

Description

Support the finance team throughout a SAP S/4HANA system migration

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

Complete budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

Produce P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting

Develop KPI reporting and management dashboards

Business partner with operational and departmental managers

Identify cost-saving opportunities and support efficiency initiatives

Support month-end and year-end processes

Maintain financial controls and compliance standards

Deliver financial modelling and business case analysis

Support commercial decision-making across the business

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have

Proven Management Accountant experience

Strong month-end, budgeting and forecasting background

Previous SAP S/4HANA experience is essential

Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills

Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities

Available to start immediately or at short notice

Experience within manufacturing, engineering or operational environments would be advantageous

Job Offer

£45,000 equivalent salary

Initial 6-month contract
