Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant | £350 to £450 per day | initial 6-month contract, immediately available candidates only

Altum Consulting are partnering with a well-established technology business, seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the finance team through audit on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on BAU role suited to a recently qualified accountant looking to gain further exposure within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Supporting the year-end and external audit process

Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules

Assisting with statutory accounts and financial reporting

Managing month-end close activities

Liaising with auditors and key internal stakeholders

Supporting BAU financial accounting activities across the team

Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance processes are maintained

Candidate Profile

ACA, ideally trained within a Big 4 firm

1-2 years PQE

Strong technical accounting knowledge

Previous experience supporting audits and year-end processes

Netsuite experience preferable

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
