Senior Data Analyst London (Old Street) £55,000 + Benefits 2 to 3 days per week in office
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Data Analyst to step into a high impact role within a growing data-driven business. You will combine hands-on advanced analytics with leadership responsibility, influencing how data is used to drive commercial decisions and campaign performance. With clear progression into team leadership and advanced analytics, this role offers both immediate ownership and long-term career growth.
The Company They are a fast-growing technology business operating within the advertising and media space, helping clients better understand and improve campaign performance. Since launching in recent years, they have scaled to a team of around 100 people and continue to expand their data capabilities.
Their work spans the full campaign lifecycle, from pre-campaign analysis and planning through to execution and performance evaluation. The business brings together data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver insights that support both brands and agencies in achieving stronger outcomes.
The Role You will work closely with senior leadership in Business Intelligence to deliver high quality analytics and shape best practices across the team. The role combines technical problem solving, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring responsibilities.
Lead the delivery of advanced data analysis across client and commercial projects
Work with a wide range of datasets including campaign, financial, customer, and sales data
Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
Support and mentor junior analysts, with the opportunity to build a team over time
Own project delivery, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Contribute to improving analytical standards and ways of working across the team
Partner with cross-functional teams to embed data-driven decision making
Your Skills and Experience
Strong commercial experience in data analytics using Python
Experience working with large and complex datasets
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under time pressure
Experience communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of data modelling, data quality, and validation approaches
Confidence mentoring or supporting junior team members
Exposure to dashboarding tools or other programming languages is beneficial
