An established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality and compliance activities across the business. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is an excellent opportunity for a proactive quality professional to drive continuous improvement, maintain industry standards, and support operational excellence.

The Opportunity

This role will take ownership of the company's Quality Management System while working closely with internal teams to ensure products, processes, and systems consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in improving business performance, managing compliance activities, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and develop the Quality Management System in line with ISO standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Manage internal and external audits, ensuring ongoing compliance.

Lead investigations into quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and KPIs.

Develop and maintain quality procedures, processes, and documentation.

Work closely with production and operational teams to improve performance and product quality.

Manage supplier quality standards and support customer requirements.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.

Support health, safety, and environmental management activities.

Lead, coach, and develop team members where required.

About You

Previous experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality leadership role.

Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards.

Experience managing audits, investigations, and continuous improvement projects.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

A hands-on approach with a commitment to driving high standards and operational excellence.

Desirable Experience

Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or production environments.

Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH.

Exposure to supplier quality management and customer-facing quality activities.
