Job Description

About the Role

At SumUp, we're on a mission to bring merchants and consumers closer together and help local communities thrive. With SumUp Pay, we're building a rewarding banking experience that connects people to the small businesses they love while enabling free transactions for our merchants.

SumUp Pay helps consumers manage their money with ease and get more from everyday spending. It strengthens the connection between consumers and merchants, creating value for both and supporting the growth of local businesses.

This role is a high-impact, key position that will challenge you to work at a quick pace and tackle a wide variety of topics and opportunities on a global scale. You will use your strategic thinking and original mindset, as well as immense drive, to help strategise and innovate within the Consumer Tribe, which is responsible for building and growing SumUp Pay and closing the loop between consumers and merchants while collaborating with the rest of the organisation.

What you’ll do

Lead and line manage a team of five across product, design, and operations — setting goals, running regular 1:1s, and building a high-performance culture focused on customer outcomes

Own roadmap execution across SumUp Local and SumUp Pay, translating high-level strategy into clear, actionable product initiatives

Directly lead one product squad with hands-on product management responsibilities, while providing strategic direction to Senior Product Managers across both verticals

Champion the consumer mission in global product forums, leadership meetings, and company-wide events — securing visibility and resource allocation for the tribe

Monitor product metrics and KPIs, identify delivery bottlenecks, and report on product progress to senior leadership

You'll Be Great for This Position If

You have extensive experience leading multidisciplinary product teams in a scaling, global environment, with the maturity to balance hands-on delivery with strategic oversight
