Management Accountant (ACCA / CIMA studier) | Salford | £40,000 - £50,000 + study support

The Opportunity

Are you a CIMA / ACCA studier looking for a fully fledged Management Accounting role within a growing group of companies.

This is a real sweet-spot for an ambitious management accountant… you’ll be joining a privately owned group of companies circa £35m turnover… small enough that you can have an influence, be appreciated and fast-tracked but large and complex enough that there is loads to be involved in and lots of scope for you to develop.

You’ll be involved in a host of added value projects alongside your business as usual reporting – developing systems and processes, coaching junior colleagues in finance, enhancing the reporting pack and MI, business partnering with colleagues across commercial areas….

You’ll have excellent guidance and mentoring from the FC and Group FD – a modern leadership team who can offer superb advice.

It’s a growing business amid a phase of investment injection and change and you will add a valuable bag of key achievements to your CV over the next 2-3 years. There is clear scope for career progression in a business that will continue to make acquisitions.

Rounded MA role with lots of ‘make a difference’ opportunity which will be hugely valuable – particularly to someone proactive and driven who sees themselves as perhaps an “FD of the future”.

Required

ACCA or CIMA studying.

Previous experience of management accounts prep (P&L and BS) as Assistant MA or MA.

Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in business – it would suit someone who wants to understand what the numbers actually mean and how they influence decision making.

Drive and ambition – the role suits someone keen to progress.

Excellent analytical / excel skills.
