Management Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive firm that embraces digital technology, flexible working and a collaborative culture.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality management accounting services to a varied portfolio of clients, whilst also overseeing and supporting a small team of bookkeepers.

The Role As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.

Producing meaningful financial reports, forecasts and business insights.

Reviewing bookkeeping work and ensuring accuracy across client records.

Supervising, mentoring and supporting a small team of bookkeepers.

Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact.

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies through technology.

Supporting clients with budgeting, cash flow forecasting and business performance analysis.

Working closely with senior management to enhance service delivery.

About You To be considered for this role, you will need:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.

Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.

Strong management accounting experience.

Experience supervising, mentoring or managing junior team members.

Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving.

Strong working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar platforms.
