Management Accountant

We’re supporting a growing organisation looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join during an exciting period of change.

You’ll take ownership of management accounts across multiple divisions, working closely with senior stakeholders and helping drive meaningful financial insight across the business.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that would suit someone who enjoys variety and being close to the numbers. Responsibilities include:

Preparing monthly management accounts across multiple divisions

Supporting group consolidation and financial reporting

Producing analysis and insight to support business decision making

Maintaining trial balances and financial reporting systems

Completing balance sheet reconciliations with strong attention to detail

Supporting budgets, forecasts and year-end processes

Business partnering with department heads and senior managers

Supporting finance process improvements and ERP implementation

Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects and payroll support when required

The successful candidate could be a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or strong QBE. You will have experience preparing management accounts, strong Excel and analytical skills and the ability to operate in a busy, multi-entity environment. You will be a confident communicator who can work closely with non-finance stakeholders.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract with potential to extend. You will find a friendly and supportive culture, offering hybrid working after the initial training period. You will have a broad, varied role with real responsibility. My client offers competitive benefits and a completion bonus.
