Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant in the Retail industry, based in Bradford, you'll be responsible for overseeing financial processes and providing key insights to support decision-making. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the business.

Description

Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.

Monitor budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions.

Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Support the accounting team with reconciliation tasks and financial audits.

Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.

Develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.

Profile

The successful candidate should be

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).

Experience managing large datasets across multi-site or branch operations.

Strong experience in preparing management accounts and financial reporting.

Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.

Good knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Strong communication skills to liaise with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Confidence with financial systems and software.

Job Offer

Salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.

Permanent position in the Retail sector.

Located in Bradford Area.
