Management Accountant West Yorkshire Hybrid working

Our client is looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls and commercial insight. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys both technical finance and people leadership, with responsibility for leading a small team and supporting informed business decision-making. Key responsibilities

Lead, develop and manage a small finance team.

Produce consolidated and practice-level management accounts.

Deliver accurate reporting and insightful financial commentary.

Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and controls.

Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.

Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end audit.

Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

About you

Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.

Proven experience producing management accounts in a commercial environment.

Confident people leader with the ability to coach and develop others.

Strong technical accounting and balance sheet control skills.

Commercially minded with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Organised, proactive and comfortable working to tight deadlines.

Desirable: Experience within a multi-site retail environment and/or cash flow forecasting. What's on offer
