Management Accountant

This is an onsite role with 5 days office presence with a salary up to £45k doe

Our client, a long established, privately-owned, forward-thinking clothing design house with overseas offices, is seeking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their small finance team in their Whitefield office

This company specialises in importing white label and own brand products for the worldwide market. They offer superb working conditions, an excellent salary and benefits package, and the opportunity to work for a hugely successful business with an eCommerce spin-off.

Reporting to the Finance Director with 2 direct reports (Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger Clerks), you would be responsible for the day-to-day management of the accounts for the businesses.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant

Preparing accounts to trial balance using Sage 200 for the core business

Generating a wide range of Sage and Excel reports

Accruals and prepayments, bank reconciliation and fixed asset schedules

Preparing full monthly accounts for the eCommerce and Property Investment businesses

VAT returns and related submissions for UK and Europe and IOSS declarations

Monitoring Internet Banking and Currency swaps

Daily Cash Reporting

Other Ad hoc duties

Required knowledge and experience for the Management Accountant role

Exceptional Sage and Excel skills is crucial

Experience of producing management accounts, accruals, bank reconciliation, prepayments and VAT Returns

CIMA or ATT qualified or part qualified CIMA or QBE

A flexible approach and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects

Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail

Experienced in working in a dynamic, busy environment with ever-changing deadlines
