About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering both strategic and operational HR support to clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll coach managers and business owners through a wide range of people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Disciplinary & grievance
Performance management
Sickness absence
Restructures and redundancies
Produce clear, step-by-step guidance alongside all required documentation
Manage employee relations cases end-to-end, including investigations and formal processes
Develop and review HR policies, procedures, and employee relations strategies
Support clients with improving people practices and operational efficiency
Coach and upskill managers to ensure best practice and minimise risk
Build strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders (e.g. ACAS, unions)
Stay up to date with evolving employment legislation
About You
You will be a confident and proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
CIPD Level 5 (minimum)
Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
Proven experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to complex ER cases
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
Commercially minded with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
