Your new role Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering the Group's external reporting obligations while supporting the ongoing development of the finance function. You will take ownership of the Group consolidation process, contribute to the preparation of annual and interim reports, and provide technical accounting guidance across the wider business.
The position offers broad exposure across financial reporting, corporate governance, internal controls and business performance, with regular interaction with senior finance stakeholders, auditors and operational teams. You will also have the opportunity to support strategic projects, process improvements and finance transformation initiatives, allowing you to develop a well-rounded skill set beyond traditional reporting responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA preferred) with a strong technical accounting foundation. The organisation is particularly interested in individuals currently operating at Audit Senior Manager, Senior Manager or experienced Manager level within a Big Four or leading accountancy practice environment, who are seeking a first move into industry. Applications are also welcome from candidates already working within a listed or large corporate environment with relevant Group Reporting experience.
You will possess excellent stakeholder management skills, a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to interpret and communicate complex accounting matters to both finance and non-finance audiences. Experience of IFRS, statutory reporting and working within a complex group structure will be highly advantageous.
