Description

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll manage a small team while remaining hands-on across the month-end process and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities include

Leading, mentoring and developing a small finance team.

Owning the month-end close and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Producing management accounts, detailed analysis and meaningful commentary for senior stakeholders.

Reviewing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.

Business partnering across multiple departments.

Supporting the audit, compliance and international reporting requirements.

Identifying opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting and increase efficiency.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Profile

I'm looking for applications from candidates who enjoy working in an evolving business and aren't afraid to question the status quo.

You'll ideally have

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or exceptional equivalent experience).

Previous Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant experience.

Experience leading or mentoring finance professionals.

Strong management accounting, reporting and balance sheet experience.

Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.

A proactive approach to process improvement, systems development or finance transformation.

The ability to work comfortably within a complex, fast-moving environment.

Job Offer

£55,000 - £60,000 salary

15% annual bonus
