Finance Manager

Your new company A well established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its leadership team. Operating within an international group environment while retaining a family business culture, the company offers a varied role with exposure across finance, operations and people management.

Your new role In your new role as Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the finance function for a growing manufacturing business, overseeing all aspects of transactional and management accounting while providing support across HR administration and reporting. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for monthly management accounts, budgeting, cash flow management, VAT returns, credit control, audit support and group reporting, whilst driving continuous improvement of financial systems and processes. Alongside finance responsibilities, you will oversee payroll administration, employee records, headcount reporting and staff compliance, managing an administrative support employee and acting as a key point of contact for both local operations and international stakeholders. This is a varied, hands on role that offers excellent exposure to the wider business and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing growth and operational development.

What you'll need to succeed You will an experienced finance professional with a recognised accounting qualification ACCA/CIMA or be qualified through significant practical experience. You will have a strong background in management accounting, month-end processes, cash flow management and financial reporting, ideally gained within an SME or manufacturing environment. Previous experience using Sage and advanced Excel skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines.
