Your new role As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of the organisation's long-term strategic objectives. Acting as a trusted business partner across multiple departments, you will provide financial insight and challenge to ensure the business continues to make informed commercial and investment decisions. You will lead a team of finance analysts, developing both people and processes while driving high standards of performance. The role will see you take ownership of complex financial models, business case development and investment appraisals, helping shape major projects and initiatives across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:

Leading financial analysis, forecasting and investment appraisal activities.

Developing and validating robust business cases for strategic projects.

Providing commercial support and challenge to senior stakeholders across the business.

Managing project cost and benefit performance to ensure investment objectives are achieved.

Delivering insightful reporting and scenario analysis to support decision-making.

Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team of 6

Driving process improvements, efficiencies and best practice across finance operations.

Collaborating with a wide range of internal stakeholders to support business performance and strategic objectives.

This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence major business decisions within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and the business partnering element of this role is key.

What you'll need to succeed

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.

Proven experience operating at Finance Manager level or above.

Strong background in financial modelling, investment appraisal and business case development.

Previous experience leading and developing teams.

Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working within complex, fast-paced organisations.

Strong business partnering capability with a collaborative approach.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience of driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing financial processes.

Experience with SAP, Tableau, data warehousing solutions or property/investment-based financial analysis would be advantageous.
