Finance Manager

Your new role As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, leading a small team and partnering with operational stakeholders across the business. This is a hands-on role that combines financial control, business partnering and commercial analysis within a manufacturing setting. Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the month-end and year-end close process

Producing accurate management accounts and financial reports

Leading budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management activities

Monitoring manufacturing costs, margins and inventory performance

Providing commercial insight and analysis to support business decisions

Developing and improving financial controls, processes and reporting

Managing and mentoring finance team members

Supporting external audits and statutory reporting requirements

Partnering with operational and production teams to drive efficiency and profitability

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will:

Be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

Have previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role

Possess strong manufacturing, engineering or FMCG sector experience

Demonstrate an excellent understanding of cost accounting, stock and inventory management

Be confident in producing management accounts and presenting financial information to stakeholders

Have strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills
