Senior Finance Manager - Order to Cash

Robert Half has partnered with a large, complex retail business to recruit for a Senior Finance Manager - Order to Cash.

About the Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to play a key role in a major ERP transformation.

You will provide Finance expertise across the end-to-end Order to Cash process, helping to shape future processes across B2C and B2B channels. The role combines strong hands-on Finance knowledge with previous experience supporting or delivering an ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Finance SME input across the end-to-end O2C process, from order through to billing, cash and reconciliation.

Shape processes covering revenue, billing, refunds, returns, credit notes, AR and collections.

Ensure strong financial controls, reconciliation and revenue accuracy.

Work with Finance, Technology and wider business teams to translate Finance requirements into practical system and process solutions.

Support integration between the ERP and wider systems including e-commerce, POS, payments and order management.

Lead Finance input into testing, UAT, data migration, cutover and go-live.

Identify opportunities to improve Finance processes, controls, automation and data quality.

About You

Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or strong relevant Finance experience.

Strong O2C / AR / revenue / billing experience.

Experience within a complex B2C and/or B2B environment, ideally retail.

Strong hands-on Finance experience combined with previous involvement in an ERP implementation or Finance systems transformation.

Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or similar.

Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliation and end-to-end Finance processes.

Confident working with Finance, Technology and senior business stakeholders.

Desirable

SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC experience.

Experience with SAP SD / Finance integration.

Retail, omnichannel, wholesale or franchise experience.

Experience with UAT, data migration, cutover and go-live.

What's on Offer

Salary of £85,000 - £90,000 + benefits.

Manchester-based role with hybrid working, 3 days per week in the office.
