Finance Manager

Finance Manager (Commercial) / Manchester (Hybrid) / Salary circa £60,000 plus great benefits.

Accountable Recruitment have the pleasure of supporting our client with the recruitment of a Finance Manager to join their growing team. We're looking for a commercially focused Finance Manager who will manage a small team and report into an impressive Group Financial Controller. This is a key role that sits at the heart of the UK business, providing financial insight, performance analysis and decision support to senior stakeholders.

Leading a team of two, you'll take ownership of gross margin reporting and analysis, ensuring the business has clear visibility of performance drivers and opportunities. This role would suit a qualified accountant who combines strong financial rigour with excellent commercial acumen and is looking to develop their career within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Ownership of UK gross margin reporting, analysis and forecasting.

Deliver insightful monthly reporting, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.

Produce meaningful commentaries and performance analysis for senior leadership.

Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive business performance.

Develop a deep understanding of the UK P&L and the factors influencing profitability.

Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.

Drive continuous improvement in reporting, controls and financial analysis.

Manage, coach and develop a team of two finance professionals.

Key skills

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).

Strong understanding of P&L reporting and financial performance drivers.

Proven ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable business insight.

Commercially minded with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Experience producing high-quality management information and financial commentary.

Proactive, driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Previous management experience or a desire to develop leadership capability.
