Business Development Manager / Sales Account Manager

Location: London NW6 (Office Site Based)

Salary: £40,000+ Basic (Flexible for the Right Candidate) + Uncapped OTE £60,000–£70,000+

As we continue to scale, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager / Sales Account Manager to join our London team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and managing key accounts within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth while helping clients successfully adopt our cutting-edge platform. The Opportunity This is an on-site role (with visits to networking events across the UK) combining new business development, account management, and client onboarding. You'll be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities, developing existing relationships, and ensuring clients receive a seamless onboarding experience from initial engagement through to activation and long-term success.

Working closely with internal teams, you'll become a trusted advisor to clients while helping shape the future growth of the business. Key Responsibilities

Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound activity, networking, referrals, and inbound enquiries.

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to closing deals.

Drive account growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Act as the primary point of contact during the client onboarding process.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and client records within the CRM system.

Support clients throughout implementation, ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience.

Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings when required.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

Provide market feedback and identify trends that support business growth.

About You We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, relationship-focused, and motivated by achieving results. Essential Skills & Experience

Experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or a similar client-facing role.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Proven ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into clients.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.

Desirable

Experience within technology, SaaS, logistics, transport, or marketplace businesses is desirable but not essential.

Previous experience managing onboarding

New Business sales with a good track record
