An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join a growing organisation specialising in candidate compliance, workforce onboarding and contractor management solutions for the recruitment sector.
The business delivers a technology led compliance platform that helps recruitment agencies streamline the onboarding and ongoing management of temporary, contract and contingent workers. Combining innovative software with compliance expertise, the solution enables agencies to reduce risk, improve operational efficiency and create a seamless candidate experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities and working within a fast-paced, consultative sales environment.
The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities and building relationships with recruitment businesses across the UK.
Working with agency owners, Recruitment Directors, Operations Managers and Compliance professionals, you will introduce a comprehensive workforce compliance solution designed to simplify and strengthen candidate onboarding processes.

Referencing and employment history validation
DBS and background screening
Contractor onboarding and document management
Compliance monitoring and audit reporting
Candidate lifecycle management
Regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
Using a combination of telephone engagement, LinkedIn networking, email campaigns and outbound prospecting, you will generate high-quality sales opportunities and secure appointments for product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and engage prospective recruitment businesses
Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers
Generate qualified sales opportunities through targeted outbound activity
Promote the benefits of compliance, onboarding and workforce management solutions
Re-engage dormant and historical prospects
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity
Consistently achieve lead generation and appointment targets
Work closely with the wider commercial team to support business growth
About You

Previous experience in sales, business development, lead generation or customer-facing roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent relationship-building and networking ability
Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers
A consultative and professional sales approach
Self-motivation, resilience and a positive attitude
A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
