An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading international law firm, supporting a high-performing Energy/Projects practice.
Working closely with senior partners, you'll lead the delivery of strategic business development and marketing initiatives that enhance client relationships, strengthen market profile and drive growth across the infrastructure, energy and major projects sectors. You'll also manage and develop a small business development team, working collaboratively across international offices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver business development strategies aligned to the firm's growth objectives.
Manage strategic pitches, proposals and client opportunities.
Support key client programmes, business planning and cross-selling initiatives.
Deliver marketing campaigns, thought leadership and profile-raising activities.
Lead legal directory submissions, awards, events and sponsorship initiatives.
Provide market insight and client intelligence to support business development activity.
Coach and support junior business development team members while promoting collaboration and best practice.
About You
Significant business development experience within legal or professional services.
Experience supporting transactional, infrastructure or projects-focused teams is advantageous.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially minded with an interest in infrastructure, energy and major projects.
An effective communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
Proactive, organised and collaborative, with experience managing multiple priorities.
