A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join a global law firm, supporting a market-leading Banking & Financial Services practice.
In this strategic leadership role, you'll work closely with senior partners to shape and deliver business development initiatives that strengthen client relationships, enhance market profile and drive sustainable growth across multiple practice areas. You'll also lead and develop a high-performing business development team, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic campaigns, client programmes and major pursuits.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the firm's growth objectives.
Partner with senior stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and drive client development initiatives.
Lead strategic pitches, panel appointments and key business pursuits.
Deliver integrated marketing and business development campaigns, thought leadership and profile-raising activities.
Oversee key client programmes, strategic account planning and cross-selling initiatives.
Manage legal directory submissions, awards, events and market positioning activities.
Lead, coach and develop a team of business development professionals while promoting collaboration and best practice.
About You
Significant business development experience within legal or professional services.
Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders on strategic growth initiatives.
Experience leading teams and managing complex business development programmes.
Strong commercial awareness, project management and stakeholder management skills.
A collaborative, proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a results-driven approach.
