Description

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely updates to the accounting system.

Assist with preparing financial reports and statements.

Support month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations.

Process invoices, payments and expense claims efficiently.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information when needed.

Help identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have

A background in accounting or finance, with knowledge of accounting principles. - Qualified/Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT/QBE

Experience using accounting software and tools.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Clear communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer

Permanent position based in Birmingham.

Salary ranging from £40,500 to £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
