Assistant Accountant

The Role: As Assistant Accountant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the finance function, gaining broad experience across areas including:

Purchase and sales ledger

Bank reconciliations

Invoicing and credit control

Processing expenses and payments

Assisting with month-end reporting

Balance sheet reconciliations

Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects

About You: We’re looking for someone who is driven, personable and keen to progress. You’ll ideally have some previous accounts experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be someone who

Has a good understanding of accounting principles

Is highly organised and detail-oriented

Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team

Is keen to learn and take on additional responsibility

Has strong Excel skills

Is studying towards, or interested in pursuing, an accounting qualification
