An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a medium - large values-led organisation undergoing significant transformation and growth.
Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will lead the Accounts function, ensuring efficient processes delivering and a high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, enhancing financial systems, and supporting the organisation's wider financial objectives.

Description
Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Oversee the cash and banking function including cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments and authorisations are made on time with strict deadlines
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies
Monitor and improve accounts payable processes and systems
Train and develop the accounts payable team ensuring KPIS and met and fostering a collaborative work environment
Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of accounts payable data
Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency.
Support audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
Profile
A strong background in accounting or finance, particularly in accounts payable management
Cash management or treasury experience
Experience Managing a tea mod transactional finance staff
Experience in shared services or not for profit is advantageous
Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
