Trainee Accountant

Our client is seeking motivated and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join a professional accounting team based in Leeds City Centre.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records

Processing invoices, payments and expenses

Supporting the preparation of accounts and financial reports

Completing bank reconciliations

Assisting with VAT returns and payroll administration

Using accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Supporting senior accountants with general finance duties

Requirements

A degree or relevant qualification in accounting, finance, business or a related subject is preferred

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail

Strong communication and organisational skills

Previous accounting experience is beneficial but not essential

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
