After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK. As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us.
With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers!

At Monzo, our mission is to make money work for everyone, everywhere. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help ship more and better payment product offerings. This is a high-impact role that demands both technical expertise and exceptional leadership to drive our ambitious goals.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of launching payment products that cross multiple teams and disciplines
Define program roadmaps and milestones, set priorities, manage trade-offs, identify and manage critical path and risks, ensure alignment with the business goals and ambition
Collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders, both technical and non-technical across the business to ensure alignment and speed of delivery
Manage dependencies, timeline and sequencing of delivery
Drive effective decision making to remove blockers and speed up delivery
Ensure operational effectiveness across your collective/area
You have 5+ years of experience managing complex technology programs or products from inception to launch
You are able to communicate clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences, including executive leadership
You are comfortable in a global business with a presence in multiple markets and want to be a part of scaling this further
You can work effectively with a diverse range of people and working styles to get stuff done, and are able to thoughtfully and constructively challenge and influence the people you work with
You understand how functionality comes together (across products and platforms) to deliver value for users, and identify/mitigate delivery risks proactively; can propose and drive a technical solution
You are comfortable personally diving deep into the data and architecture to make good decisions in complex situations where there’s often no “right answer”
Recruiter Call (30 mins) You'll meet our Engineering Leadership Recruiter to discuss your experience and learn more about Monzo. They'll be your partner and guide throughout the interview process.
Initial Call (45 mins) You'll meet with one of our engineering leaders. They'll ask you about your previous experience, in particular program execution and technical leadership. They’ll also make time to tell you about Monzo and answer your questions.
Loop Stage (3 hours) The Loop stage consists of 3 x 60 min interviews that take place over 1-2 days (depending on your availability).
