Senior Accountant – Manchester | Hybrid Want to move beyond traditional compliance?

We’re working with a growing, modern accountancy firm in Manchester looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

You’ll work with a varied portfolio of ambitious agencies, consultants and service-based businesses, giving you the chance to build real client relationships and get involved beyond the numbers.

The Role

Manage your own portfolio of clients

Prepare year-end accounts and tax returns

Complete VAT and management accounts

Deal directly with clients and provide advice

Help clients understand and improve their numbers

Get involved in forecasting and wider advisory work

Support and develop more junior team members

What they’re looking for

Practice experience

Strong accounts and tax knowledge

Experience managing your own clients

Confident communicator

Commercial and proactive mindset

Xero experience would be a bonus

ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified preferred
