Senior Accountant – Manchester | Hybrid Feeling like you’re ready for something a bit different?

We’re working with a modern, growing accountancy firm in Manchester that’s looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working with clients, having a bit more ownership and actually getting involved in the businesses behind the numbers.

What you’ll be doing

Looking after your own portfolio of clients

Preparing accounts, tax returns and VAT

Producing management accounts

Speaking directly with clients and answering queries

Providing practical tax and accounting advice

Helping clients understand their numbers and make better decisions

Working with the wider team to deliver a great service

About you You’ll ideally have:

Experience in accountancy practice

Strong accounts and tax knowledge

Experience managing clients

Good communication skills

A proactive, commercial approach

ACA/ACCA or relevant QBE experience
