Senior Management Accountant

We are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Senior Management Accountant to join our financial services clients growing finance team. This part-time (three days) opportunity offers a blend of hands-on accounting, stakeholder support, and team mentoring, making it ideal for someone looking to add real value within a collaborative environment.

You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting queries, and developing junior team members. You’ll be joining a close-knit, professional team, backed by a national organisation known for innovation, growth, and exceptional client outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support the preparation of monthly management accounts

Complete accruals, prepayments, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations

Respond to queries in a professional and timely manner

Assist with dividend documentation and company secretarial administration

Provide cover for finance team activities during absences

Mentor and support junior finance staff, including reviewing work and sharing best practice

What We’re Looking For

Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA

Strong experience in management accounts and month-end processes

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines

Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders

Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues (or a willingness to develop this)

Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
