Senior Management Accountant

Your new company An established and growing professional services organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. Operating within a complex, multi-entity environment, the business offers the opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting, process improvement, and team leadership within a fast-paced and collaborative setting.

Your new role As Senior Management Accountant, you will lead a small team to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting. You will oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, review balance sheet reconciliations and journals, maintain general ledger integrity, and support the production of management accounts, KPI reporting and financial analysis for senior stakeholders. The role will also involve strengthening financial controls, supporting audit activities, driving process improvements, and contributing to finance transformation and systems enhancement projects.

What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience and strong technical accounting knowledge. Finance systems expertise and advanced Excel skills are essential. You will be a confident and collaborative leader, capable of managing and developing teams while building strong relationships across the wider business. Experience working within a large, complex organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment will be key to success in this position. Experience in professional services or finance transformation projects would be advantageous.
