Data Scientist | Manchester | Competitive + Share Options
We are working with a fast growing, globally recognised tech business to find a Data Scientist to join their expanding data function.
This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a reporting tool. It is for someone who genuinely enjoys getting under the skin of a business problem, figuring out the best way to approach it, and delivering analysis that changes what happens next. You will work across commercial, operational and strategic topics, partnering with stakeholders across the business to ask better questions and surface insight that influences real decisions at a senior level.
You will also play a key part in how the business develops its use of AI-assisted workflows, thinking critically about outputs, improving how analytical work gets done, and helping build frameworks that have lasting value.
A sharp analytical mind with strong strategic reasoning
A track record of solving commercially meaningful problems where the answer was not obvious
The ability to explain complex ideas clearly to people who are not data specialists
Confidence working autonomously and managing senior stakeholder relationships
Curiosity about AI-enabled analytical workflows and where they are heading
SQL and Python useful but not essential - they hire for mindset and potential
Above market salary, reviewed regularly
