Senior Accountant

As an Senior Accountant, you'll be handling day-to-day accounting tasks to ensure smooth financial operations for clients in the professional services industry. Your role will involve preparing accounts, offering financial advice, and supporting clients with their accounting needs. Part-qualified in ACA/ACCA at a minimum.

Description

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Accountant

Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders

Preparing corporation tax computations and returns

Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping reviews

Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day accounting queries

Supporting cloud accounting solutions including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks

Reviewing work prepared by junior team members

Assisting managers and partners with portfolio management

Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value

Profile

Essential Requirements for a Senior Accountant

ACA or ACCA part-qualified as a minimum

Previous experience in an Accounts Senior, Semi-Senior or equivalent practice role

Experience preparing year-end accounts for a range of business entities

Strong technical accounting knowledge

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines

Job Offer

Salary between £36,000 and £45,000, dependent on the level of experience
