About the team

The EMEA Startup team is a highly consultative sales team that is responsible for the growth and retention of Stripe’s largest and fastest growing Startup customers.

What you’ll do

As a Sales Manager for Startups - Early Growers at Stripe, you will be crucial in driving Stripe's expansion by fostering growth among our existing high potential top startups.

Your role involves leading and coaching a team of high-performing Account Executives, empowering them to achieve ambitious targets. You will also directly engage with users. We seek an individual eager to collaborate with a top-tier team to navigate intricate organizations, identify new opportunities to leverage payments for competitive advantage, and innovate our joint go-to-market strategies.

You will manage a team of Startup AEs, focusing on supporting the growth of the top Startup users in EMEA. This team will partner with high-potential startups in our install base. Your goal is to provide hands-on business consultancy, optimize Stripe integrations, and uncover commercial upsell opportunities for Stripe.

Responsibilities

Recruit, develop and lead a team of sales professionals, with a particular focus on the Funded Startup segment across EMEA

Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics

Prioritise top startup users and be accountable for increasing existing revenue at high rates of growth

Driving deal strategy and execution including strong pipeline development, opportunity management, and forecasting

Coach and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the sales cycle

Play a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to C-level

Inspire, motivate and enable personal and career development of team members, both to promote career growth and to increase impact for Stripe
