Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Reed is recruiting on behalf of an established Manufacturer based in Dewsbury, our client is looking for a Sales Administrator to play a crucial role in supporting our sales team. This position involves ensuring smooth coordination of activities, efficient processing of orders, and providing exceptional service to both customers and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will combine administrative accuracy with strong communication and organisational skills to help drive overall sales effectiveness.
Day-to-day of the role
Process sales orders, quotations, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner using the system sage
Maintain and update customer records, pricing lists, and product information in CRM and internal systems
Update customers with delivery dates and times
Support the onboarding of new customers, including account setup and documentation.
Coordinate with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure order fulfilment and smooth delivery timelines
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries relating to orders, pricing, availability, and delivery status
Resolve customer issues or escalate them to the appropriate internal teams
Build strong, positive relationships with customers to enhance sales opportunities and retention
Monitor stock levels and liaise with purchasing teams where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a sales support, sales administration, or customer service role
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM systems
Working Conditions
Office-based/hybrid (work from home on a Friday) Will consider Part time
