Description

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to address delays or priorities.

Track and report on key performance indicators related to production and output.

Lead, mentor, and develop the production team to maximise performance and morale.Supervise and guide the production department

Implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency

Oversee production processes and adjust schedules as needed

Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes

Coordinate with different departments for smooth operations

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines

Manage budget and production resources efficiently

Report to senior management on production activities and issues

Profile

A successful Production Manager should have

A background in engineering or manufacturing, ideally within the industrial sector.

Proven experience in managing production processes and leading teams.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

A strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

The ability to analyse data and use it to make informed decisions.
