Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations at our office in Stockport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the office environment, managing administrative staff, and supporting senior management with various organisational tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and attention to detail to contribute to a professional and efficient workplace. The Office Manager will play a key role in maintaining organisational standards, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring effective communication across departments.
Responsibilities
Booking & organising company social events, dinners etc
Assisting the director to advertise job postings, review suitable candidates job applications and set up interviews.
Interviewing prospective staff
Organising staff events
Taking minutes
Interact with IT, phone and building personnel as needed.
Organising staff training
Booking company insurances, training events, accreditations such as MCS, which? ISO9001
Inbound & outbound telephone calls
Organising company treats
Setting up new customers in our CRM system
Making sure all data is collected from customers.
PA Support to the Directors
General administrative support to staff on an ad-hoc basis
Diary management of staff and scheduling video calls and Survey meetings
Processing expenses, bookkeeping, invoice processing
Staff timesheets
Staff holiday requests
Staff hours records
General Office Admin
General payroll admin
Assisting Directors and Senior Management staff with their duties.
Overseeing & mentoring other company staff
Overseeing office staff and ensuring they are working towards their roles and responsibilities.
Social media management and marketing administration
Liaising with Atlantic Renewables HR Advisor. This is a paid for service called Citation and communicating with Atlantic Renewables.
Attending and taking minutes during staff appraisals and disciplinary meetings.
Dealing with any enquiries that come through the company email box. It will be your primary role to act as the voice of the company and be the first point of call with new and existing customers
Onboarding new staff including contract administration, DBS Checks and uniform arrangement
Keeping inventory of staff uniform and ordering when required
Project administration including pre and post project paperwork
Ordering of office stationery, printing consumables and other office equipment/consumables
Ordering/designing company merchandise and signage such as business cards, promotional items
Organising staff travel and accommodation as required for projects
Assisting Operations with customer and scaffolder communication
Managing and paying building utilities i.e. gas, electric, water, business rates
Monitoring company phone bills and correct usage
SEO-based articles for website and social media
