An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Martech Engineer to join a growing digital and performance marketing business at the intersection of technology, data, and marketing. This role offers the chance to build innovative tools, automation solutions, and AI-enabled products that support both internal teams and external clients, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Based on the role brief and accompanying JD, the position combines hands-on engineering with real commercial impact across digital marketing, analytics, and media solutions.

The Role

As a Martech Engineer, you will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain tools that enable more effective marketing and analytics delivery.

Responsibilities include

Building and maintaining proprietary products, automation tools, and data solutions.

Designing scalable integrations and API-driven workflows.

Working with internal teams and client stakeholders to identify challenges and deliver technical solutions.

Developing data pipelines and cloud-based applications within a modern engineering environment.

Supporting AI and agent-based projects that enhance operational efficiency and insight generation.

Maintaining and improving existing products, platforms, and codebases.

Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving bugs across internal and client-facing tools.

Contributing to innovation initiatives, technical best practices, and future product development.

You will ideally bring

Strong commercial experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Experience developing, maintaining, and debugging serverless applications.

Exposure to cloud technologies, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience working with APIs, integrations, and automated data workflows.

Understanding of digital marketing channels such as SEO, paid search, paid social, or content marketing.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience building secure, scalable, and reusable solutions.

Desirable experience includes

BigQuery or alternative cloud data warehouse technologies.

ETL or ELT tools such as Funnel, Adverity, or similar platforms.

Data visualisation and dashboarding solutions.

AI and agentic frameworks such as LangChain or CrewAI.

Experience integrating AI capabilities into products and workflows.
