Location: Central London (Hybrid 3/4 days in office) Contract: Permanent Salary: Circa £45,000

An innovative and fast-growing international technology business is looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join its collaborative finance team. About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Working within a fast-paced environment, you’ll contribute to financial reporting, month-end processes, compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives across a multi-entity group structure. This role offers strong development opportunities for someone looking to build their technical accounting expertise while progressing within a growing finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, reporting packs, and financial analysis.

Assisting with month-end close activities including journal postings, reconciliations, variance analysis, and balance sheet reviews.

Managing operational finance tasks such as supplier payments and customer invoicing.

Investigating and resolving discrepancies across financial records and balance sheet accounts.

Assisting with statutory and compliance reporting requirements, including VAT submissions and tax-related reporting support.

Providing support during external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and responding to auditor queries.

Supporting the preparation of financial statements across multiple legal entities under relevant accounting standards.

Working closely with the Financial Controller to enhance financial controls, processes, and internal documentation.

Contributing to finance transformation initiatives, including automation and continuous improvement projects.

Supporting and mentoring junior finance team members where appropriate.

Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and wider business projects as required.

About You

Experience using Netsuite is essential.

2+ years of relevant experience in management/ financial accounting.

AAT qualified or actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA or a similar professional qualification.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Positive, hands-on approach with a willingness to support the wider team.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
