Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant | 3 month contract | South West London | Consumer Business | £53,000-£57,000 | 4 days per week in office |

A Management Accountant is required to work for a retail business based in South West London (4 days in the office). This role is working in a dynamic team and will be supporting the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include

Preparation of monthly management accounts including a range of journal entries.

Review of the monthly results and variance analysis vs KPIs and budget

Assist with preparation of internal reports and finance analysis

Manage reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis ensuring high quality supporting evidence

Assist in preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts

Being involved in a collaborative and supportive team environment, ensuring good internal communication

Line management of one Assistant Management Accountant

Skill set required

The successful candidate will have 3+ year’s finance experience, with at least 1 year of owning month-end processes. Prior experience in a retailer or multi-site business is beneficial but not essential. You must possess strong communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
