Reed Accountancy is partnering with a well-established international organisation to recruit a talented Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified Management Accountant looking to gain broad exposure within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment whilst contributing to key financial decision-making.
Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to support business performance. The role offers strong exposure across both finance and operational teams, making it ideal for someone looking to accelerate their career.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and commentary
Posting journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation) and maintaining robust financial controls
Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of discrepancies
Cash flow analysis and reporting
Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
Managing intercompany transactions, recharges, and reconciliations
Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Assisting with audit processes and responding to auditor queries
Driving process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
About You
Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent
Circa 3+ years’ experience in a management accounting role
Strong technical grounding in financial reporting and controls
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g. SAP, HFM, TM1) desirable
Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Proactive, driven, and keen to continuously improve processes
