Management Accountant

Reed Finance are pleased to be partnering with a growing private equity-backed manufacturing business just outside Bristol city centre in the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their friendly and collaborative finance team.

Salary £50,000-£65,000 (DOE)

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in financial reporting, stock accounting, business analysis and continuous improvement projects across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Produce monthly management accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations

Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

Manage stock accounting, inventory reporting and cost analysis

Investigate manufacturing and operational variances

Partner with operational teams to improve financial performance

Support finance system enhancements and process improvement projects

Analyse financial and operational data to provide business insights

Develop reporting tools and management information

Assist with audit requirements and maintain strong financial controls

About You

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment

Strong stock accounting and inventory experience

Advanced Excel skills and a strong analytical mindset

Experience improving processes and working with finance systems

Commercially minded with excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

ERP implementation or systems development projects

Power BI, SQL or other reporting tools

Multi-currency or international reporting environments
