Management Accountant

Description

Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts

Process balance sheet reconciliations

P&L and cashflow analysis

Monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals

Provide detailed variance analysis

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations

Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as needed

Support the wider team with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis tasks

Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts

Full reconciliation of bank accounts across allocated entities, ensuring accurate cash and net debt reporting

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have

A recognised qualification in accounting or finance ACCA or CIMA - OR qualified by experience.

Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in financial reporting.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.

The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
