Description

The successful Management Accountant will

Prepare and analyse stock reports to identify variances and trends.

Monitor stock levels and provide accurate valuations for financial reporting.

Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to streamline stock management processes.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to inventory.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in stock management.

Provide support during audits and ensure accurate documentation of stock data.

Deliver regular updates and insights to senior management on stock performance.

Be responsible for the day to day management of an Assistant Management Accountant.

Support a culture of continuous improvement working closely with a Finance Director to improve efficiencies within the wider business.

Profile

The successful Management Accountant should have

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.

Ideally experience in stock accounting.

Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Offer
